Our rich and creamy mozzarella is made from the pure full cream milk from our cows in Nanjo, Okinawa. Italian missionaries went to Mexico and taught them how to make mozzarella. Then, the clever Mexicans stretched the mozzarella into a long strand and wound it into a ball. This is called Oaxaca Cheese after the region in Mexico where it became famous. Mozzarella is also pulled into a long strand and cut into strips. In this form it is called string cheese.  Mozzarella, Oaxaca and String Cheese are all basically the same.

Great cheese, good customer service!

I wanted to bring some cheese varieties to a party and needed them to arrive close to the party date, John did all he could to meet my requirements and the party was a success. This cheese in particular was a present for the host and he was delighted by the cheese. Thank you!
