This cheese is our original creation. A white mould cheese, similar to Brie or Camembert, infused with a pesto made from locally grown basil leaf. Basil and tomato are good friends. Eat this cheese with a slice of tomato - fresh or sun dried. Our Ozato Basil cheese is a best seller in the Cheese Shop.

Delicious cheese

Delicious canapés

I made canapés inspired by photos shred by The Cheese Guy. The cheese was more crumbly and harder to slice than his photos suggested, and the flavor is quite strong. I put a piece of cheese on a cracker, added a few drops of olive oil and a slice of mini tomato. When you popped the whole thing in your mouth, the flavors combined….heavenly! My guests loved them too.
