TOGAN SYRUP (TOPPING FOR YOGURT)

Any visitor to our Cheese Shop in Nanjo knows this item well. Toganzuke syrup blends perfectly with our yogurt. Slices of winter melon are stewed with locally made sugar to make Toganzuke, candied winter melon and this item, Togan Syrup. Served at the Royal Court of Ryukyu, this delicious sweet is made by good friends of ours, Jahana Kippan in Matsuo, Naha.
